A funeral service for Adrian Rashad "A.A." Ward, 34, of Marshall, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 25, 2023, in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 24, 2023, at the funeral home.

Adrian was born on October 15, 1988 in Longview, Texas to Kenneth Perkins and Joan Ward and passed away on March 17, 2023, in Longview, Texas.

He accepted Christ at an early age at St. John Baptist Church of Marshall, Texas. He attended schools in Marshall, Texas and was a member of the Marshall Maverick Class of 2007.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Baxter Sneed, Elnora Perkins, Paul Ward and Julia Ward.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Kenneth Perkins and Joan Ward; son, Adrian R. Ward Jr.; two daughters, Adrianna R. Ward and Serenity C. Ward; special friend, LaTasha Pratt; brothers, Paul Ward (Ashley), Erik Ward (Renika), Tre'Von Roy and Kendrick Warren; sisters, Ebony Ward and Brandi Perkins along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
