Funeral services for Albert V. Flowers, Jr. will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 2 PM with visitation on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 1 PM at Downs Funeral Home. Rev. Chad Roberts will officiate the service.

Albert V. Flowers, Jr. 68, of Marshall, Texas was born on April 21, 1952 in Marshall, Texas to his parents, Alicia Pruitt and Albert V. Flowers, Sr. Mr. Flowers passed away on July 10, 2020 in Longview, Texas. He married the love of his life, Debra Whitehurst on January 28, 1977 in Marshall, Texas. After graduation Albert worked as a welder for Tatum Power Plant. He became the manager for Civco until Texas Pole Co. bought out Civco, he was then the manager at Texas Pole Co. Once Texas Pole Co. closed he then worked as a service manager at Marshall Hardware. Once Marshall Hardware closed he became a Sales Rep. for Logan and Whaley Hardware Co.

Albert is survived by his loving wife, Debra Flowers; children, Misty Heard Trinkler and Christy Stowell; brothers, Marvin Flowers and Melvin Madewell and wife Vickie Madewell; grandchildren, Brittney Crooks and husband Brian, Dalton McBride and wife Mechele, Victoria Craver, Levi McBride and Kati-Lyn; great-grandchildren, Rylie Crooks, Aden Crooks, Jaxon Crooks, Kasen Crooks, Brently McBride, Paislee McBride, Cassidy McBride, Justin Edwards, Eve McBride. He also leaves to cherish his memories of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends that he all adored.

Albert is preceded in death by his parents, Alicia Madewell and Albert Flowers, Sr.; siblings, Michael Flowers, Brenda Flowers, Charles Flowers (Billy), Edward Madewell, Vicki Perea; and grandson, Ricky Craver, Jr.
