Alene Patton Else was born February 26, 1947, in Nacogdoches, Texas, to Roscoe Moore and Fannie Patton.  Alene accepted Christ at an early age and later accepted The Truth as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Alene attended Marshall public schools, Dunbar Elementary and H.B. Pemberton High School.

In November of 1964, she entered into holy  matrimony with James Russell Else. This glorious   union spanned over fifty years.  Although they never received the blessing of children between them, Alene was the mother of a lovely daughter, Louise who was the other joy of her life. Alene worked     various jobs during her lifetime. The healthcare field was her passion, where she worked as a CNA for many years and in later years a private sitter. She was always passionately giving of her time to others.

Alene was preceded in death by her loving  parents, mother Fannie Lou Patton and father  Roscoe Moore. Also, her beautiful daughter Louise Moore, who passed away in 2009. Left to mourn Alene's passing is her loving brother, Lenard Ray "Boy" Patton and a hosts of nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.
