Private family services will be held by the family for Aleta Marette Grogan, 72, of Marshall Texas.

Aleta was born on July 14, 1951, in Baltimore, Maryland to Albert Thomas Rowlette and Audrey Phyllis Fleenor Rowlette and passed away on January 25, 2024, in Marshall, Texas.

She married Kevin Walter Grogan, Sr. in Hugo, Oklahoma and the two remained married until her passing. She loved her Harley Davidsons and her Cadillacs. She could cook any meal from scratch. One of her favorites, her most loved dish to make was called "Garbage" made from hamburger meat, scallops, French style green beans, cream of mushroom and many spices. She loved family vacations and new adventures. She was a hard worker outside of the home and held several jobs. She was the perfect mother, the backbone of the family, teaching all homemaking skills to better her kids and grandkids. She made sure everyone could make their own way. She loved all of her children unconditionally and her family always came first.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Audrey Rowlette; her grandparents; son, Joseph Moore and brother, Albert Rowlette.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin Grogan, Sr.; children, Melody Rowlette, Roxan Grogan and Kevin Grogan Jr. and wife, Jennifer; brother, Jeff Rowlette and wife, Karen and grandchildren, Andrew Rowlette, Kali Grogan, Kevin Grogan III, Ariana Grogan, Leah Hamblin and Thomas Smith along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
