Funeral services for Alex R. Terhune, 26, of Marshall will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday October 21, 2012 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Phillip Patton officiating. Interment will follow in Piney Cemetery , Harleton, Texas. A time of visitation will be held from 6:00 -8:00 p.m., Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Downs Funeral Home. Alex passed away October 16, 2012, due to injuries in an automobile accident. Alex Terhune was born March 7, 1986 in Amarillo, Texas to Roy and Brenda McCollum Terhune. He was a member of Marshall Church of Christ. Alex was home schooled by his mom, and received his G.E.D. He was formerly employed as an installer at S&W Filers Co. Alex was a Boy Scout and in 4-H where he showed his goats. Alex is survived by his parents, Roy and Brenda Terhune of Marshall; his son, Dakari M. Terhune of Ft. Worth; sister. Erica and Keith Robinson of Livingston, Texas; brother, Miles K. Terhune of Marshall; grandparents, Gene and Madge Terhune of Odessa, Texas, Mae and Sue McCollum of Canyon Lake, Texas and a number of aunts, uncles amd cousins.
