Alice Louise Rider Ames was born May 7, 1931 to Orvis W. Rider and Sarah Able Rider in Chino, CA. Alice Louise and James Ames were married on April 29, 1950 in Courtsite, AZ. She was baptized on January 7, 1954 as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. She pioneered from 1986 to 2007. Alice was a homemaker, a faithful wife and loyal friend. She was a loving mother of four children. Alice passed away November 11, 2012 in Longview. Alice Ames is survived by her husband, James Ames of Marshall, TX; daughters, Janie Fason of Marshall, TX, Julie Marie Richey of Los Alamos,NM; sons, James Michael Ames of Houston, TX, Jeffery Mark Ames of Longview, TX; 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
