A funeral service for Alma Sneed Bailey will be held at 2:00p.m. Saturday March 30, 2019 at Downs Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00p.m. Friday March 29, 2019 at Downs Funeral Home.

Alma Sneed Bailey "Dug" 79 of Marshall, Texas was born on April 3, 1939 to the union of the late Vaxter Sneed and Francis Sneed. Mrs. Alma Bailed died on March 25, 2019 in Fort Worth, Texas. She attended school in Longridge and Elysian Fields. She worked at the laundry for 15 years until she got the passion to take care of others. She then worked as CNA taking care of the elderly for 40 years until she retired in 2006.

Mrs. Bailey is preceded in death by her parents, Vaxter and Francis Sneed; three brothers, James O. Sneed, Joseph W. Sneed, and Willie J. Moss; two sisters, Geneva Mosley and Phyllis Young; two sons, Charles L. Williams and Tuory James Williams; daughter, Wanda L. Williams.

Those left to cherish her memories are two daughters, Diane Holmes (Paul) and Sandra L. Williams both of Fort Worth, Texas; companion, Willie Bell of Marshall, Texas; eight grandchildren, Jimnise M. Williams, Roshunda C. Wooden, Keith Wooden, Dashunda Holmes, Damian Holmes, Davida Holmes, Paul Williams, and Don J. Loving; six great-grandchildren, Jamyika N. Williams,KaShawanda Williams, Ka'Nyra Williams, Ka'Nyre Williams, and Deasia Holmes; two great-great-grandchildren, Prince Charles Williams and Amerra Davis; sister, Cecily Graves (Wendel) of Marshall, Texas; three brothers, Charles Sneed (Glenda) of Marshall, Texas, Rosheon Amie (Luann) of El Paso, Texas and Kenneth Perkins (Naomi) of Dallas, Texas. Also left to cherish her memory is a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends that she loved dearly.
