Funeral services for Amy Ives Peete, 63, of Marshall, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 24, 2014 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Bro. Tracy Sepulvado officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 6: 00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Downs Funeral Home. Mrs. Peete passed away July 21, 2014 at her home. Amy Ives Peete was born November 23, 1950 in Marshall to James Ives and Dorothy Lamb Ives. She was a graduate of Marshall High School, and attended East Texas Baptist University. Mrs. Peete was a nurse for Marshall Manor Nursing Home. She was a member of Harleton Baptist Church where she served as a counselor. Mrs. Peete also worked with the Womens Crisis Center in Longview. She enjoyed gardening, crafts and anything outsdoors. Amy married Bruce Peete and together had three children. Surviving Amy Peete are her husband, Bruce Peete of Marshall; children, Wendi Redmon and fiancé Scotty Hill both of Marshall, Brian Peete and wife Sandra of Longview, and Shannon McIntosh and husband John of Marshall; brother, John Ives of Ada, OK; grandchildren, Kaylyn Stewart, Stormy Peete, Randi Redmon, Sarah McIntosh, Brent McIntosh, Brandon McIntosh, Brian Peete, Jr., Hunter Redmon, Gauge Redmon, Robert Underwood, Landon Underwood, Stephen and Miranda Hill, Scotty David Hill, Krystal Glaser, and David Hernandez; 2 great grandchildren, Remington Lee Stewart and Kendall Hill; numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
