Funeral services for Andrea Louise Wells, 69, of Jefferson, TX, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 9, 2015 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home in Marshall. Interment will follow in Restland Cemetery in Waskom. A time of visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Downs Funeral Home. Mrs. Wells passed away August 4, 2015 at Pine Hill Nursing Home in Jefferson. Andrea Louise Jones Wells was born November 2, 1945 in Minden, LA to Edward Jones and Louise Posey Jones. She married Lonnie Marion Wells, and they were married for 55 years. Mrs. Wells was a cafeteria worker for the public schools. She loved QVC. Surviving Mrs. Wells are her husband, Lonnie Marion Wells; brother, Larry Dale Jones of Shreveport; sister, Margaret Moody and husband Loyce of Jefferson; 5 sisters-in law; niece, Misty Eakins of Jefferson; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and friends. Andrea was preceded in death by her father Edward Jones and her mother Louise Posey Jones from Waskom, TX. She was also preceded in death by her brother Gary Edward Jones from Scottsville, TX. Pallbearers will be Michael Cain, Billy Griffin, L.R. Moody, Keith DuBois, Clifford Rich and Spencer Lipsey. Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Posey, Jeff Williams and Dick Meadows.
