Funeral services for Andrew Nathaniel Stukes, 20, of Marshall will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 24, 2013 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Segers officiating. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held 6:00-8:00 P.M., Friday, August 23, 2013 at Downs Funeral Home. Andrew Nathaniel Stukes was born March 16, 1993 in Waco, Texas to Alex and Anne Marie Ellefson Stukes. He passed away August 16, 2013 in Marshall, Texas. Andrew graduated with honors from Marshall High School in the class of 2011. He volunteered at the Harrison County Humane Society, loved music, had a heart of gold and loved helping people. Andrew loved his family and loved God. He attended St. Joseph's Catholic Church and Victory Baptist Church. Andrew is survived by his parents, Alex and Anne Stukes of Marshall; brother, Allen Stukes, also of Marshall; maternal grandmother, Barbara Ann Kruschke of Waco, TX; paternal grandmother, Carolyn Maxwell of Bivins, TX; a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Andrew was preceded in death by his grandfathers, and two uncles, two cousins, one aunt, and one great aunt.
