Mrs. Angela La-Rose Hawkins Mrs. Angela La-Rose Hawkins, 54, was born to the parentage of the late Ms. Anna Lee Wade and the late Joe Nathan Smith. She received her education in Marshall I.S.D. She accepted Christ at an early age at the St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Marshall, Texas. She married Foster Lee Hawkins and to this union one child was born. Those left to cherish her memories are: One daughter Ms. Toycha L. Johnson of Marshall, Texas and two grandchildren: Cornilus Watson, Jr. (Bud) and Deja'Jasmine Anderson; three sisters: Annie P. Johnson, Joyce L. Johnson and Sharon Rosborough (King), all of Marshall, Texas; two brothers: John Johnson and Wayne Smith, both of Marshall, Texas; four aunts and one uncle. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A special friend Frank Jackson. Funeral services for Mrs. Hawkins will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 4, 2011, in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with interment to follow in St. John Cemetery, Marshall, Texas. Rev. S. L. Harris will officiate.
