Anita Hill Coco, 51, of Blanchard, LA, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2015 in Shreveport, LA. The family will receive friends from 5pm to 7pm, Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Downs Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1pm, Friday, October 16, 2015 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Anita was born November 9, 1963 in Carthage, TX, to W.T. "Pete" Hill and Judith Candella. She attended schools in Marshall, TX. Anita married Tim Coco on May 1, 1980. Together, they had one son, Shawn Coco. She and Tim were married 30 years. Anita worked many years for Phillip Ford in Marshall. She also loved her dogs and karaoke. She is survived by her mother, Judith Candella; son, Shawn Coco; sisters, Angela Lively, Melinda Fenner and Lorene Rodriguez; nieces, Stephanie Entwistle, Leigha and Hollie Fenner, Monica Padilla, Jessica Hill, and Kaitlyn Rodriguez; nephews, James Donald, Dakota Correa, and Nicolas Martinez; great niece, Savannah Entwistle; brother-in-law, Eric Lively; Shawn's father, Tim Coco; and step-daughter, Chelsea Coco. She is preceded in death by her father, W.T. "Pete" Hill of Panola, TX. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Harrison County Humane Society.
