A time for visitation with family and friends will be from 5-7 p.m., Sunday, August 22nd at Downs Funeral Home in Marshall.

Funeral services for Ms. Edwards will be at 4 p.m., Monday in the chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Rev. Chad Roberts and Rev. Lindsay Long officiating.  Burial will follow in Colonial Gardens Cemetery.

Anna Lou Edwards, 80 of Marshall passed away August 19, 2021 in Marshall, TX.  She was born December 6, 1940 in McLeod, TX.  She was preceded in death by her husband Jim Edward, infant son Roy Lynn Evans; mother and dad, Rose Long and Clifton Long; sister, Ruby Crawford; brothers, Nolan Long and Huey Long and wife Birtie.

Mrs. Edwards is survived by three  son, Tommy Evans and wife Sherry Evans of Marshall, Robert C. Evans and wife Dorthy of Marshall, Donald Evans and wife Crystal of Marshall; sister, Bessie Solomon of Axtel; brothers, Bill Long and wife Joan of Augusta SC, Lindsay Long and wife  Nancy of Longview;  8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and one great grandson due in November.
