Funeral services for Ms. Anna "Tissie" Parker, 75 of Allen, Texas formerly of Marshall will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday March 10, 2011 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Bro. Judson Strawbridge officiating. Interment will follow in Colonial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Downs Funeral Home. Ms. Parker passed away March 07, 2011 in McKinney. Anna "Tissie" Parker was born on October 11, 1935 in Marshall to Roy Cook and Anna Louise Gibson Fletcher. She graduated from Marshall High School and was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed sewing and gardening. Surviving Anna are her daughters, Wanda Spencer and husband John of Allen and Lee Ann Quinn of Marshall; three grandchildren, Nate Terry of Allen, Emily Terry of Marshall and Jordan Spencer of Allen; one great-grandchild, Isabella Terry of Allen. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. Serving as pallbearers will be Nate Terry, Wayne Parker, John Spencer and Jordan Spencer.
