A memorial service for Arthur Sanders "Sandy" Knight, 87, of Marshall will be held 10:30 A.M., Saturday, April 13, 2013 at The Little Chapel by the Lake, Colonial Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Knight passed away in Longview on March 25, 2013. Sandy was born October 21, 1925 in Alba Alabama to Mary Parker and Arthur Franklin Knight. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Marshall. Sandy married Betty Spidell Duncan on November 19, 1990 in Marshall, TX. He was owner/operator of Auto Damage Appraisers and later retired from Jones & Jones Attorneys. Sandy served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean Conflict. Sandy is survived by his wife, Betty Duncan Knight of Marshall; sons, Radny & Malia Knight of Hallsville, Ricky Knight of Ennis; daughters, Cindy Duncan of Marshall, Donna Duncan of Alvord, TX; grandchildren, Sara Knight of Costa Rica, Ryan Knight, Rachel Knight both of Dallas, TX, Duncan Furrh, Drew & Ashley Furrh, Donlee Furrh & fiance' Raney all of Marshall, Taylor Hooker of Spring, TX and Matthew Hooker of Miami, FL; and 4 great grandchildren.
