A funeral service for Arturo Vega Delgado, 71, of Marshall, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 25, 2022, in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home in Marshall, Texas. Interment will follow at Yates Cemetery in Scottsville, Texas. A time for visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Downs Funeral Home.

He was born on March 10, 1950, in Galeana NL, Mexico to Juan Vega and Catalina Delgado and passed away on February 17, 2022, in Marshall, Texas.

He married Emma Casas Reyes on June 5, 1978, in Galeana NL, Mexico and they remained married until his passing. He was a resident of Marshall, Texas for 20 years and was a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church.

He is preceded in death by his father, Juan Vega.

He is survived by his mother, Catalina Delgado; his wife, Emma Casas Reyes; children, Francisco Vega, Juan Manuel Vega and Marisela Margarita Vega; brothers and sisters, Gilberto Vega, Antonio Vega, Julian Vega, Francisco Vega, Manuel Vega, Marta Vega, San Juana Vega, Rosario Vega, Angeles Vega, Maria Del Refugio Vega, Olga Vega and Josefina Vega; grandchildren, Francisco Vega Jr., Martin Eduardo Martinez, Eliezer Gerardo Martinez, Arturo Eliel Martinez, Liliana Lizbeth Vega, Ashley Vega, Emanuel Elioenai Vega, Juan Jatniel Vega, Crystal Vega, Andrew Caleb Vega, Uriel Vega along with numerous other family and friends.
