A funeral service for Arty "Lunny" Wyatt, 86, of Harleton, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 14, 2022, at Lone Oak Baptist Church in Jefferson, Texas. Interment will follow at Liberty Cemetery in Harleton, Texas. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 at the church. Mr. Wyatt passed away on March 10, 2022, at his home in Harleton, Texas.

Arty "Lunny" Wyatt was born September 1, 1935 in Searcy County, Arkansas to Richard and Bertie Wyatt. In 1956 Lunny married Marie Brevard and the two spent 59 loving years together. They were blessed with two children, Pam and Michael;  and four grandchildren.

Lunny spent years working in various industries and oil & gas companies. He enjoyed spending time with family and the outdoors.  Countless hours were spent traveling, hunting, fishing, trapping, and playing dominoes. He was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church and the Goodtimers Club.

Lunny was blessed to spend the last 7 years with Ada Jackson as his special friend. Ada and her extended family became a special part of Lunny's life. During their time together they enjoyed spending time traveling and  visiting family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, and sister Christine.

Those left to cherish his memory are children, Pam McNeill and Michael Wyatt (Julie); grandchildren Jordan Wyatt (Haley): Brandon McNeill (Kelsi); Anna Hardy (Kalin); Abby Jones (Adam); numerous great grandchildren; Ada Jackson, Jerry and Sonya Prewitt, Casey and Carly Jackson, Austyn and Cassi Prewitt, and Hanah Prewitt.
