Barbara Harrison was born October 11, 1952 in Panola, Texas to the late Ben and Arlene Hawkins. She passed away from this life on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Good Shepherd Hospital in Longview, Texas. A visitation will take place from 6pm to 8pm, Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Downs Funeral Home in Marshall, Texas. Services will be at 2pm, Friday, October 3, 2014, at Elysian Fields Baptist Church with burial immediately following at New Boggy Cemetery. Barbara received her education in the Elysian Fields public schools and also attended business college. She was a member of Elysian Fields Baptist Church and was also a member in good standing of the Eastern Star Chapter #332. Surviving Barbara are her husband, Oscar Harrison of Marshall; sons, Windell Harrison of Ft. Worth , TX. and Bryan Harrison of Dallas, TX.; sister, Irma Jean Daniels of Dallas, TX.; two brothers, Ben Hawkins of Marshall, TX. and Foster Hawkins of Dallas, TX.; three grandchildren, Triniti, Cordae, and SaRhi all of Marshall, TX. and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kecia Harrison, Marshall, TX., parents, Ben and Arlene Hawkins, Elysian Fields, TX. and her brother, Ollie Jefferson, Dallas, TX.
