Becky Lou Morton was born May 10, 1956, in Marshall, to Lucille Yakel and Joe Tom Morton. She passed away July 9, 2015, in Dallas. Becky was a graduate of the Hallsville High School Class of 1974, and a graduate of Kilgore College. She enjoyed reading, watching movies, computers, art work and painting. She was a member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Longview. Graveside funeral services for Becky will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2015, in the Hallsville Cemetery with Bro. Jim Rust officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, July 13, at the Downs Funeral Home in Marshall. Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Lucille Morton, of Hallsville; sister, Gretchen Oney and husband, Mike, of Marshall; brother, Tommy Morton and wife, Marsha, also of Marshall; nieces and nephews: Kimber Harris, Joe Morton, Hunter Lacy, Peyton Morton, and Logan Morton. She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Tom Morton, and her grandparents, Frank & Gretchen Yakel, and Artie and Adie Morton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Longview.
