Funeral Services for Betty K. Phillips will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, September 30, 2020 in the chapel of Downs Funeral Home with burial in Shiloh Cemetery in Cass County.  A time of visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, September 29th at Downs Funeral Home.

Betty K. Phillips, 79 of Marshall, Texas was born on January 4, 1941 in Linden, Texas to her parents, Robert Lee Knight and Cora Leta Burns. Mrs. Phillips went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 25, 2020. Mrs. Phillips had a passion for art, especially painting; she even taught others how to paint. To know her was to know she was the life of the crowd, she loved laughing and cutting up. Spending quality time with her grandkids, kids, and other family was her favorite thing to do.

Mrs. Phillips is survived by her husband, Oran Clarence Phillips; children, Dennis Phillips and spouse, Gaye Lynn, Carmen Nevala and spouse, Al, Mark Phillips and spouse, Cathy, Oran Phillips, Jr. and spouse, Kelli; eight grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Mrs. Phillips is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Knight and Cora Burns; four brothers; two sisters.
