A memorial service for Betty "BB" Redmon, 72, of Waskom, Texas will be held in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 27, 2024.

Betty was born on July 14, 1951, to Walter Lemuel Comer and Peggy Boyd Page Comer and passed away on January 17, 2024, in Longview, Texas.

She married Bill Redmon, Jr. in Smith County, Texas and the two remained married until her passing. She loved art, photography, fishing and old movies. She loved all of her family, but most importantly she loved her husband, Bill, her three sons and her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Peggy Comer and her two brothers, Jonny Comer and Bobby Comer.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Redmon, Jr.; sons, Chris Redmon, Bryan Redmon and Tommy Redmon and wife, Trisha; sister, Penny Gastineau; brother, Jim Comer and grandchildren, Randi Redmon, Dayne Redmon, Raegan Roe and husband, Dillon, Thomas Cohen Redmon, Hunter Redmon, Gauge Redmon and Braylee Redmon along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
