A graveside service for Beverly Sue Fogarty, 79, of Marshall, Texas will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at Stewart Cemetery in Tatum, Texas. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at Downs Funeral Home. Mrs. Fogarty passed away on September 15, 2024, in Marshall, Texas.

Beverly was born on February 3, 1945, in Longview, Texas to James Albert Berry and Ida Mae Freeman Berry and passed away on September 15, 2024, in Marshall, Texas.

She married Dennis D. Fogarty on June 6, 1963, in Longview, Texas and the two remained married until her passing. She was a part of the team that put together the Hallsville Bobcat Belles Drill Team. She worked extensively in Genealogy. She was of the Baptist Faith and loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ida Berry; sister, Charlotte and grandson, Cameron Cosper.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis D. Fogarty; children, DeDe Davis (Morgan Allen), Sherri Cosper (Clint DeBusk) and Yvonne March (Randle); sisters, Kathy Crane, Jhetta Hayes; brother, James Berry; grandchildren, DeAnna Davis, Christopher Davis, Jeremy Olson, Blaine Cosper, Brittany Norwood and Harrison March and seventeen great grandchildren along with a number of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her honor to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
