Funeral services for Bill Gary, 81 of Richardson will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at the Chapel by the Lake in the Colonial Gardens Cemetery in Marshall with Dr. Wallace Watkins officiating. Mr. Gary passed away October 11, 2014 in Richardson, Texas. Billy Wayne Gary was born on April 25, 1933 in Marshall, Texas to Roy Gary and Eula Vern Baxter Gary. He was a graduate of Marshall High School and University of Texas at Arlington where he received a degree in Industrial Engineering. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a Radio Operator in Japan during the Korean War. On September 16, 1960 he married Lynda Bridger. He enjoyed watching football especially the Cowboys. Survivors are his wife of fifty-four years, Lynda Bridger Gary of Richardson; daughters, Jill Glass and Lori Masucci; grandchildren, Alex, Andrew, Kristen and Kelly Masucci, and Sam and Emily Glass; sister-in-law, Carmen Gary; niece, Rita Kay Gary; and nephew, Spencer Gary. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eula Verne Baxter Gary; father, Roy Gary; brothers, James Gary and Woody Gary.
