A Memorial Service for Mr. Billy "Billy P" Maloney, 89, will be held at 11:00a.m., Saturday, March 25, 2017 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Ministers Joe Hancock and Roy Fox officiating. A visitation will take place 1 hour prior to the service. Mr. Maloney passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 in Longview, Texas.

Billy Parrish Maloney was born January 24, 1928 to Robert and Lottie Parrish Maloney. Billy was a graduate of Karnack High School. After graduation he joined the United States Army where he served his country with pride and honor. He later attended East Texas Baptist College before he began working for Darco where he would continue to work until his retirement in 1980. Billy P was a lifelong resident of East Texas and of Eastern Hills Church of Christ.

Surviving Mr. Maloney is his loving wife, Roberta Maloney; two sons, Joe Pat Maloney and wife, Melissa, and Billy Maloney and wife, Betty; two daughters, Sheila Weaver and husband, Scotty, and Kelly Dykes and husband, James; grandchildren, River Wheat, Cameron Weaver, Cason Weaver, Jody Maloney, Nicki Lucas, James Maloney, Taniya Woody, Ray Bentley, Frances Annis, and Katherine Montgomery. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Preceding him in death are his parents and one brother.
