A graveside service for Birdie Ann Taylor, 89, of Tucson, Arizona will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Old Foundry Cemetery in Jefferson, Texas. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, October 20, 2025, at Downs Funeral Home.

She was born on December 26, 1935, in Marshall, Texas to J.K. Callison and Lillian Dodd Callison and passed away on October 8, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.K. and Lillian Dodd.

She is survived by her son, Joe Kenneth Taylor and wife, Melanie of Tucson, Arizona and grandchildren, Jared Taylor of Dallas, Texas, Ryan Green (US Marines) and Lillian Taylor of Tucson, Arizona.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her honor to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
