Graveside services for Blanche Ivey, 88, of Woodlawn, TX, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 21, 2015, at Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. Chad Roberts, Rev. Terry Ivey and Rev. Elton Lambert officiating. Mrs. Ivey passed away March 18, 2015 in Longview, TX. Blanche Virginia Breden Ivey was born April 7, 1926, in Osceola, IN to Ralph Breden Sr. and Addie Viola Truex Breden. She married Gordon Wayne Ivey on May 16, 1959, in Shreveport, LA. Mrs. Ivey was dedicated to her faith, church and husband. She was a skilled seamstress. Surviving Mrs. Ivey are her husband, Gordon Ivey of Woodlawn; children, Karon Wilson and husband Jeffrey of Heath, OH, Terry Ivey and wife Rhonda of Alexander, AR; step-daughter, Pamela Kolczar and husband Jim of Troup, TX; siblings, William Breden and wife Barbara of South Bend, IN, Norma Smith of Ft. Smith, AR, Richard Breden and wife Jeanne of Columbus, OH, Sharon Brown and husband Duane of Mishawaka, IN, and Linda Carles and husband Fred of Alabama; 7 grandchildren, Steven White, David Kolczar, Brandon Wilson, Yalondah Milliner, Nicholas Wilson, Jacklyn Lambert, Dustin Ivey; 15 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Mrs. Ivey was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Ralph Breden, Jr., Cecil Breden, Robert Breden; and 1 sister, Darlene Carles.
