A memorial service for Bobby D. Clynch, 75, of Marshall will be held 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 18, 2013, in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Mr. Clynch passed away September 11, 2013 in Longview, TX. Bobby Clynch was born July 7, 1938 in Shamrock, TX to Charlie Richard and Coral Inez Bradley Clynch. He was a graduate of Midwestern State University. Bobby retired from American Amicable Life Insurance of Texas in 2001. He also retired from the Army National Guard. Bobby was a member of XH Fraternity and XH Hunting Club. He loved sports, was an avid attendee to all his kids sports events, loved coaching and encouraging each of them, and was a big Baylor fan. Bobby loved his Texas Hold'em games with his sons. He was considered as nice to a fault. Bobby is survived by his sons, Brandon Clynch and wife Paula, Christopher Clynch and Lesley Hays, all of Marshall; sister, LaVerne Hallmark; granddaughters, Aislyn Clynch, Kailyn Clynch, Alexis Hays; nieces and nephews, Shannon Comer, Justin Boren, Jordan Boren; cousins, extended family, friends; and his dog, Casey. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and a baby brother.
