A time of visitation for Bobby Lucas, Sr., 74 of Marshall will be held from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Downs Funeral Home.
Bobby Lucas, Sr. was born April 5, 1943 in Marshall, Texas to Billy Alvin Lucas and Dollie Juanita Hortman Lucas. He married Dinah Cornelias Price. She preceded him in death. Bobby was self-employed in the upholstery business since he was about 18 years old. He was a member of the Elks Club of Marshall. Bobby loved singing and playing guitar as well as his Cushman motorcycles. He dearly loved Caddo Lake where he lived for many years. Bobby was a family man who was crazy about his grandkids and great-grandkids. Bobby passed away on Monday, September 18, 2017 at the age of 74.
He is survived by his children, Bobby Lucas, Jr. and wife, Angie, Michael Lucas and wife, Debbie, Carla Lucas, and Renae Lucas and husband, Jerry; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three brothers, Danny Scott, Mark Lucas, and Dale Lucas; sisters, Peggy Kale, Linda Shilling, Patsy Wilson and Genia Lucas as well as, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Dinah Lucas and brothers, Ronnie Lucas and Billy Lucas.
