Bonnie Jean Hooper, 86 of Marshall, Texas passed away on February 6, 2019. Visitation will be held Sunday February 10, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at Downs Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on February 11 at 10:00 a.m. at the Downs Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Colonial Gardens.

Bonnie Jean was born on August 31, 1932 in Old Hickory, Tennessee to Henry and Ruby Holliman. Bonnie married John Winston Hooper. She really enjoyed being a homemaker and also enjoyed bowling. Bonnie loved gardening and sitting outdoors watching the birds, butterflies, and watching the squirrels play. Bonnie loved all of God's creations. She loved her family, and especially her grandchildren.

Bonnie is survived by her children Del Crawford and her husband Stan, Dan Collins and his wife Pat, grandchildren Robert Crawford and his wife Kelly, Doug Tuff and wife Stormy, Amy Cash and husband Aaron, great-grandchildren Mary Ella and Madeline Crawford, Danielle and Rainey Tuff, Eli and Isaac Cash, sister Shirley Pyron and husband Dale, brother James Holliman, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband John Winston Hooper, and parents Henry Harley Holliman and Ruby Myrdee Tabor.

The family would like to thank Hearts Way Hospice for their devoted love and care of Ms. Bonnie Jean Hooper.
