Boyd (Bud) Marcum Jr. was born April 25, 1946 in Logan, West Virginia to Boyd Marcum Sr. and Della Louise Pennington Marcum. Bud was a longtime resident of Marshall and had lots of great friends. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. Bud, a beloved spouse and father passed away May 28, 2016 at his home. He has crossed the bridge, he's home now. Rest in peace. At his request, no services will be held.

He is survived by his wife, Georgia Marcum; children, Kenneth, James, Michael, Della, Charles, Gilbert and Misty; twenty-two grandkids; thirty great-grandkids; brothers, Jerrell Marcum and Dennis Marcum and sister, Penny Landry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Boyd Marcum and Della Louise Pennington and sister, Francis Sturgill.
