A funeral service for Brandon Jacob Shutt will be held Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 10:00a.m. at Downs Funeral Home. Rev. Rusty Rustenhaven will be officiating the services. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00p.m. on Friday, February 14, 2020 at Downs Funeral Home.

Brandon Shutt, 23 of Marshall, Texas was born on September 18, 1996 in Longview, Texas to his parents, Robert Forrest Jacob Shutt and Tina Marie Coleman. Brandon passed away on February 7, 2020. Brandon worked as a vet tech and during his free time he loved fishing. Brandon had recently enlisted in the United States Navy.

Brandon is survived by his mother and step father, Tina and Keith Talley; father and step mother, Robert and Sherri Shutt; sister, Tiffany Shutt and fiancé, Jordon Hubnik; paternal grandmother, Joyce and Kent Rhodes; step grandmother, Carla Talley. Brandon is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.

Brandon is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob "Papa" Shutt, Thomas "Nappy" Coleman, and Retha Mae Coleman; aunt, Lisa Shutt; uncle, Robert David Coleman.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Jordon Hubnik, Robert "Robby" Dewayne Coleman, Andrew Shutt, Corbin McCain, Thomas Glen Coleman, and Nick Talley.
