A funeral service will be held for Mr. Bruce A. Giddens Jr. at Downs Funeral Home on Sunday, February 2 ^nd , 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Bro. Doug Lovett will be officiating the service.

Bruce Augdon Giddens Jr. 74, of Marshall, Texas was born on November 20 ^th , 1945 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to his parents, Bruce Augdon Giddens Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Gilbert. Mr. Giddens passed away on January 29 ^th , 2020 in Marshall, Texas. Family was very important to Mr. Giddens. Most of his family's fondest memories were listening to him tell stories about his childhood and time spent with his father while driving their truck. While Mr. Giddens was born in Oklahoma, he always said he got to Texas as soon as he could. Mr. Giddens was married to his beautiful wife, Patricia Ann Cranford Giddens, for 43 glorious years. The two attended Bell Street Baptist Church.

Mr. Giddens is survived by his children, Bruce Giddens III, Angela Sipes, and Daniel; grandchildren, T.J., Kirsten, Ty, and Tommy; one great grandchild, Adalynn Rose; brother, Clark Giddens; and sisters, Cindy Bowen, Gloria Moore, and Lucille Ball.

Mr. Giddens is preceded in death by his parents and loving wife.
