On September 15, 2022, Bryan Michael Gentry, loving brother and friend, passed away at age 51 in Shreveport, LA after a lengthy illness.

Bryan was born on September 23, 1970, in Dallas, TX and shortly after moved to Waskom, TX where he was raised by James (JW) and Frances Gentry. He graduated from Waskom High School in 1989 and went on to a career in water treatment for plants and refineries. He resided in Longview, TX for the past 13 yrs., where he had loving support from his second family at New Life Outreach. He had a passion for Nascar and dirt track racing and spending time with friends. He also loved lunch and shopping outings with his mother and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, JW and Frances Gentry.

He is survived by his brothers, Dewayne Gentry and wife Jacquelyn Bowers of Shreveport, LA and Cary Gee of Waskom, TX, sister Liz Pene and husband Ronnie of Waskom, TX; nieces and nephews Morgan Gentry, Kelly and Steven Gee, Jamie Lawrence, and Evan Gentry.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 17, 2022, at the Restland Cemetery, 593 Restland Cemetery Rd, Waskom, TX,

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to support research for Huntington's Disease.
