A funeral service for Bryce Rutherford will held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 18, 2021 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home in Marshall, Texas. Interment will follow at Yates Cemetery. A time for visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 17, 2021 at Downs Funeral Home.

Bryce was born in Marshall, Texas on August 12, 1996 and passed away on September 14, 2021. Through Bryce's younger years he grew up going to Grange Hall Baptist Church in Marshall, Texas where he gave his life to the lord when he was 9 years old. In Bryce's spare time he enjoyed a wide variety of things.  Drawing, sports, spending time with family  and hanging out with his friends and mostly hiking with his brothers.  He was the person that was always there when you needed him and a shoulder to lean on. Bryce had a huge heart and loved everyone he ever met. He worked hard every day to provide for his son and fiance'.

He is survived by his Father Brody Rutherford, his mother Tina Quaid, fiance' Autumn Gill, and his beloved son Dawson Rutherford, brother Garrett Rutherford and wife Rachelle, and brother Jarod Rutherford. Grandparents Nancy Rutherford, Jimmy and Nancy Quaid, Jewell Ammons, and Starky and Toy Davila. Along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins that he loved.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather that he loved dearly, Carl Rutherford.
