Funeral services for Byron Kennard Hamilton, 32, of Karnack, TX, will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, April 18, 2015, in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery. A time of viewing will be held from 12:00-5:00 p.m., Friday, April 17, 2015, at Downs Funeral Home. Mr. Hamilton passed away April 11, 2015 due to injuries from a motorcycle accident. Byron Kennard Hamilton was born August 11, 1982 in Marshall, TX, to Lawrence Hamilton Sr. and Burnette Kennedy Hamilton. He was a graduate of Marshall High School. Byron married Akillia Jackson on July 10, 2010, in Marshall. He worked as a supervisor in the oilfield industry. Byron is survived by his wife, Akillia Hamilton; his parents, Lawrence Sr. and Burnett Hamilton; son, Tyre'L Hamilton; daughters, Taniya and Taylor Hamilton; brother, Lawrence E. Hamilton Jr.; sister, Makhia Hamilton; grandmother, Laura Hamilton; and other extended family and friends.
