A graveside service for Calvin "Doodle" Coleman, 61, of Waskom, Texas will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Concord Cemetery in Jonesville, Texas.

Calvin was born on December 28, 1962, in Idabel, Oklahoma to Thomas Algernon Coleman II and Shirley Ann Cooke Coleman and passed away on August 6, 2024, in Atlanta, Texas.

He was a graduate of Waskom High School Class of 1981. He loved traveling and making his trips to Colorado and Oregon. He was collector of junk and a simple man that lived a simple life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas A. II, and Shirley Coleman.

He is survived by his sons, Christopher James Martin and wife, Megan and Thomas A. Coleman IV; brother, Thomas A. Coleman III and wife, Deborah; sister, Stacy Gentry; nieces, Heidi Lucas and husband, Dan, Andrea Coleman and Julia Gossens and husband, Ryan; nephews, Sterling Brasher and Spencer Lipsey and numerous great nieces and nephews along with other family and friends.
