Carl Edward Turner was born on December 8, 1957 in Augusta, Georgia to Randal and Doris Turner. He passed away at the age of 63 on Friday, September 17, 2021 in Longview, Texas.

He moved to Waskom, Texas as teenager and it became his lifetime home.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Turner; sons, Carl Randal Turner and Nicholas Derby; sister, Barbara Barnett and husband, Jerry; brother-in-law, Ronald "Dooley" Martin; sister-in-laws, Delsie Scott and husband Willie "Boo" and Jan Kuykendall and husband, Rick along with several nieces, nephews and other family.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
