Funeral services for Carol K. Woodley, 60, of Marshall, TX., will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, October 5, 2013 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Bro. David Rice officiating. Interment will follow in Woodley Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M., Friday, October 4, 2013 at Downs Funeral Home. Carol passed away September 30, 2013 at her residence. Madelyn Carol Kelley Woodley was born January 6, 1953 in Marshall, TX to Carl Henderson Kelley, Jr. and Charlotte Delores Moore Kelley. Carol worked for Commonwealth Insurance Company for a number of years. She then worked for Stallworth Buick-Pontiac, starting out as a sales person and later became the GMAC Financial Manager. Carol also worked as a lab tech for TSO for 10 years. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. Carol enjoyed flowers, gardening, farm life, and had been a barrel racer for a number of years. Carol is survived by her sons, Mark H. McCullars and wife Elizabeth and Matthew P. McCullars and wife Patricia, all of Marshall; grandchildren, Rowdy P. McCullars, Dakota McCullars, Montana S. McCullars, Victoria A. McCullars, Cody P. McCullars, Melenie N. McCullars, Taylor R. Cooper, Heather E. Cooper, Jerry D. Cooper; brothers, Richard C. Kelley of Mt. Vernon, TX, Stephen L. Kelley of Huntsville, TX; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Carol was preceded in death by her parents.
