Carolyn was born on August 20, 1961, in Dallas, Texas to Jerry Lee Hollins and Warrine Cruter Hollins and passed away on July 24, 2026, in Marshall, Texas.
She was a long-time resident of South Carter Street, where she lived for more than 30 years. She dedicated over 20 years of service to Trinity Industries in Longview, Texas and was known for her strong work ethic and unwavering commitment.
She found great joy in the beauty of nature. Whether it was the gentle sound of the wind through the trees, the peaceful snowfall, the falling rain, or the vibrant colors of autumn leaves, she appreciated God's creation and found peace in its simplicity.
She cherished spending time with her family and friends. She loved sharing stories, laughter, and meaningful conversations, and her warm smile had a way of making everyone feel welcome.
Above all, family was the center of her life. She loved not only her own children but also embraced others with the same care, compassion, and guidance. To many, she was a mother figure, always offering a listening ear, wise advice, and a shoulder to lean on when it was needed most.
She leaves behind three beautiful children who she loved dearly: Patrice Elaine Johnson, Isaac J. Johnson, and Jeremiah Johnson; numerous grandchildren and two siblings, Fannie Silmon and Emanuel Hollins along with other family and friends.
Her kindness, strength, and unconditional love touched countless lives. Her legacy will live on through the family she cherished, the friends she loved, and all those who were blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
