A private family celebration of life will be held for Ms. Cassandra Marie Mauldin.

Cassie Mauldin was born on May 15, 1975 to her parents Doyle Lynn and JoAnn Dorothy Mauldin. Ms. Mauldin received her wings on May 16, 2021, one day after her 46 ^th birthday. She was a lifetime resident of Waskom, Texas. Ms. Mauldin graduated from Waskom ISD in 1997. With several medical issues in the first seven years of life, Cassie was a natural born fighter from day one. She loved being around her family and meeting new people. She was considered a mother hen to all of her family.

Ms. Mauldin is survived by her father, Doyle Lynn Mauldin; siblings, Georgie Anna Bush and husband Billy, Daniel Patrick Mauldin and wife Kandi; nieces and nephews, Wesley and Miranda Borders, Charles Borders, David Meador, Stefan Meador, Dylan Mauldin, Joshua and Katelyn Mauldin; bonus nieces and nephews, Travis and Brittney Hickey, Derrick Bush, Madeline Thompson, James "Bubba" Thompson, Maelena Thompson, and Melody Thompson; great nieces and nephews, Wyatt Borders, Kaylynn Borders, Joseph (Joe) Borders, Everleigh Meador, Josie Hickey, Jett Hickey, Jase Hickey, Tristan Hickey, Christian Bush, Jayden Simpson, Abbigail Day, Knightin Day, Natalie Simpson, and Kort Thompson.

Ms. Mauldin is preceded in death by her mother, JoAnn Dorothy Watson Mauldin; sister, Jeannine Lynn Mauldin McDaniel; grandparents, George and Georgie Mauldin, Walter and Ann Watson.
