Memorial Services for Cheryl Kay Bartlett Coats will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Karnack United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Landers officiating.  Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Downs Funeral Home.

Cheryl Coats, 72, of Karnack, Texas was born on October 28, 1948 in Jefferson, Texas to her parents, Paul Bartley and Daisy Bramlett.  Mrs. Coats passed away on June 10, 2021 at her home in Karnack.  She was a lifetime resident of Karnack and loved living on the river.  She attended Karnack United Methodist Church.  Mrs. Coats was a rural mail carrier for the U.S. Post Office for over 20 years.  She loved watching the Texas Rangers, traveling and going on cruises.

Mrs. Coats is survived by her son, Vance Coats and her beloved dogs Ally, Abby, Harley and Alex. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Chuck Coats.
