Visitation for Mr. Chester Modzelewski, 54, of Elysian Fields will be held from 6-8 p.m., Friday, October 1, 2010 at Downs Funeral Home in Marshall. Mr. Modzelewski passed away September 27, 2010 in Elysian Fields. Chester Modzelewski was born March 4, 1956 in Houston, TX to Anthony Chester Modzelewski and Omega Ellaverge Puckett Modzelewski. He was a machinist in Houston and had worked at Bit-Tec in Waskom. Chester had been a resident of this area for the last 27 years. Surviving Mr. Modzelewski are two sons, Bryan Deason and wife Stacy, and Christopher Modzelewski, all of Harleton; two daughters, Lisa Moore and husband Jerry, of Brownsboro and Christina Modzelewski and boyfriend Michael Teel, of Athens; five grandchildren, Dustin Moore, Kali Moore, William Colton Moore, Logan Deason and Alyiah Deason; one brother, John Modzelewski; one sister, Tina Cook, both of Tuscon, AZ; mother of his children, Donna Modzelewski , of Harleton and mother in law, Vida Rust, of Elysian Fields. He was preceded in death by his mother, Omega Modzelewski, father, Anthony Chester Modzelewski and half brother, Billy Vestal.
