A visitation for Christine Zgainer, 90, of Marshall, Texas will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Downs Funeral Home in Marshall, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery in Goldthwaite, Texas.

Christine was born on December 13, 1930 in Goldthwaite, Texas to Walter Edmond and Laura Vina Reeves and passed away on December 1, 2021 in Marshall, Texas.

She loved cats and would feed every stray animal that would come around.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edmond and Laura Reeves; and husband, John Zgainer; 3 brothers and 1 sister.

She is survived by her very dear friends, Donna and Robert Brian and other friends and family.
