A funeral service for Clayton Lee Allen, 64, of Marshall, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 6, 2023, in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Gardens Cemetery.

Clayton was born on August 28, 1958, in Dallas, Texas to Clinton Allen and Lizzie Smith Allen and passed away on April 23, 2023, in Marshall, Texas.

He was a 1977 graduate of Marshall High School as well as attending Panola College from 1978 to 1978 and Wiley College from 1980 to 1984. He loved sports and was a Dallas Cowboys fan.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Lizzie Allen.

He is survived by two sisters, Sheila King and Robinette Hurd; aunt, Gloria Williams and uncle James Williams along with numerous other family and friends.
