Mrs. Cordelia Doss age 89, was the daughter of the late Albert and Zelma Adkisson. She was born on December 28, 1930 in Leonard, Texas. Mrs. Cordelia died on August 10, 2020.

She married Rev. Charles Udell Doss on May 7, 1955. He preceded her in death on August 5, 1988, also her son, Tommy Joe Doss on September 4, 2012.

Mrs. Cordelia was a charter member of Clearview Baptist Church and a member of Memorial Baptist Church of Marshall, Texas. She worked as a cook in the Marshall School District; she also worked at Adkisson Donut shop, Friendship Baptist Church and Clearview Baptist Church.

Mrs. Doss was well known for her delicious cakes, pies, and biscuits; one time she baked 300 mini pumpkin cakes for ETBU. She also enjoyed sewing cathedral quilts.

She loved reading her bible and professed her faith in Christ by saying "Without Him I could do nothing."

Her life will be forever cherished in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who knew her as "Memaw"; Glinda Solomon, Larry Smith, Donnie Ann Pierce, and son-in-law, Roger Pierce. Mrs. Doss is loved by many more extended family and friends.
