Danielle "Dani"
Tuff Singleton
Jul 23, 1996 — Aug 15, 2025
DeKalb
Danielle "Dani" Corrine Singleton, age 29, of DeKalb, Texas was born on July 23, 1996, in Marshall, Texas to Douglas Curtis Tuff and Jennifer Denise Byrd and passed away on August 15, 2025, in Texarkana, Texas. Dani brought light and joy to the world from the moment she arrived.
A 2014 graduate of Marshall High School, Dani proudly served as a Marshall Mavette for three years, where her grace and spirit shined. She loved to dance, cook, sing, shop, and get lost in a good book or a Food Network marathon. Dani was a radiant presence- her beautiful smile could light up any room, and her laughter was truly contagious.
She lived most of her life in Marshall, Texas, where she built a life full of love, laughter, and resilience. For 14 years, Dani bravely battled Lupus with strength and unwavering hope. Despite her illness, she remained a beacon of positivity, always seeing the good in others and in the world.
Dani shared eight cherished years with her husband Eric Singleton. Married for three of those years, they resided in Texarkana, Texas. Their love was deep and enduring. Eric loved Dani more than life itself. To him, she was not only a wife but a best friend and a beautiful soul who brought sunshine into every day.
She is survived by her loving husband, Eric Singleton; father, Doug Tuff and wife, Stormy; mother, Jenny Byrd; sisters, Kaylee Hasler and Rainey Tuff; mother-in-law JoAnn Hardin and husband, David; nephews, Kaden Dunn and Liam Bounds; nieces, Aleigha Singleton and Bentley-Anne Bounds.
Dani was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Emma Claire, her grandmother Del "Mimi" Crawford, and brother-in-law Chasen Singleton.
Dani adored animals and children and had an extraordinary gift for comforting those around her. When you met her, it was like meeting a ray of sunshine. Her big blue eyes sparkled with life, and her kindness, humor, and gentle heart left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She truly was a beautiful soul inside and out.
Dani absolutely loved anything the color purple, and the family is asking that anyone in attendance to wear purple in honor of her colorful memory. Memorial services will be held at Downs Funeral home in Marshall, Texas; September 4th, 2025, at 2:00 pm. As a reminder, the family is requesting everyone to be in purple.
She will be missed more than words can say, but her memory and the light she brought into the world will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
The family asks those who choose not to send flowers, please make a donation to the Lupus Foundation in honor of Dani's memory. https://www.lupus.org/
