Darlene Landuyt Klenk, of Marshall, affectionately known as "MeMaw", gained her heavenly wings on May 20, 2025, with her family by her side. She was born January 6,1944, in a farmhouse in Toledo, Iowa to Alfonce and Florence Landuyt.

She attended and graduated schools in Chelsea and Tama, Iowa. She spent many years as the food service director for Marshall ISD and later worked at Trinity Episcopal School as their food service director. She loved the people and kids that she worked with over the years and always told stories of her daily encounters with pride. She enjoyed dancing, listening to country and gospel music, spending time watching her grandchildren's activities, volunteering at church, and gardening.

She is survived by her children, Deborah (Brad) Christenson, Doug (Michele) Kriegel, and Amy (Kyle) Wilson; her grandchildren, Nathan (Mikaela) Kriegel, Kyle (Paige) Kriegel, Elijah (Tori) Christenson, Riley (Julianna) Wilson, Tallie (Cole) Alexander, Emily Wilson and Brody Kriegel; her great-grandchildren, Peyton, Cody, Reed and Laramie Kriegel; her special friend, Brad Skinner; her twin brother, Darold Landuyt; brothers, Alan (Karen) Landuyt and Wayne (Pam) Landuyt and sister, Diane (Danny) O'Brien.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Shirley; brother, Fonce; sister-in-law, Linda Landuyt, and great-grandson, Grayson Kriegel.

At her request, a private service will be held with her immediate family in Iowa at a later date.

She was a special mom, MeMaw, sister, friend and coworker to many and will be missed dearly.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Terry Center at Magnolia Nursing Home along with the staff of Accent Hospice Care.
