Darlene Painter Graveside funeral services for Darlene Painter, 53, of Harleton will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, June 6, 2011 at Smyrna Cemetery in the Smyrna Community with Rev. Mike Midkiff officiating. Burial will follow. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., on Sunday, June 5th at the Downs Funeral Home. Mrs. Painter passed away Friday, June 3, 2011 in Longview. Darlene Louise McKenney was born in Marshall, Texas, on April 30, 1958, to Dallas Carlile McKenney and Bill McKenney. She was a graduate of Harleton High School. She served as a Administrative Assistant for 401K Planning with Acturial Benefits & Designs, and was a former secretary with the Harleton School System. She was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church in Harleton. Survivors are her son, Curtis Ramsey of Harleton; sister, Jean Copeland and husband Neal of Harleton; brother, Robert McKenney of Hopewell, Virginia and a number of nieces and nephews.
