Funeral services for Dr. David Matthew Geary, 55 of Marshall will be held at 2p.m., Wednesday June 08, 2011 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Father Denzil Vithanage and Kevin Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Yates Memorial Gardens in Scottsville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday June 07, 2011. Dr. David Matthew Geary passed away Friday June 03, 2011 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, surrounded by his wife and his five children. Dr. Geary was a partner of Marshall Family Practice and Associates. Dr. Geary will forever be remembered as an amazing, compassionate doctor with a huge heart and a great sense of humor. The love he gave to his family and the smile he put on our faces will never be forgotten. He is by far the most beautiful man we have ever known. Those left to cherish his life are his wife and best friend, Kelly Geary; daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Derek Mayfield of Longview; daughters, Brittany Geary and Jacobe Smith; sons, Dillon Geary and Taylor Smith; four siblings and countless friends including his family of patients and colleagues
