Graveside funeral services for Mr. David Wayne Hudson, 57, of Marshall will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Algoma South Cemetery under the direction of Downs Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, May 29th at the Downs Funeral Home. Mr. Hudson passed away Sunday, May 27, 2012 in Longview. David Wayne Hudson was born in Marshall, Texas on January 20, 1955 to William Ray Hudson and Anita Ford Hudson. He graduated from Marshall High School in 1973. He was the owner and operator of Maverick Meats in Marshall for over 25 years. He was a Baptist. He is survived by his son Cody Hudson & daughter-in-law Krystal Gaddis of Marshall, his mother Anita Wilkerson of Henderson, his sister Cindy Brandon of Marshall, niece and nephew Casey Holladay of Marshall, and Wade Grubbs & wife Natalie of Atlanta GA, also his special pets, "The Boys" Peanut & Chico. He was preceded in death by his father.
